Whistler Longboard Festival

The 2013 Whistler Longboard Festival was held on July 5th and 6th. Live broadcast to web by Corner Wave Media, 9 cameras caught the action including the Sea to Sky Cable Cam. The cable cam captured 3 corners. To accomplish this the rig had to run down hill at 70 km/hr, stop hard at the anchor which was 80 feet up a tree and fire back up hill at full speed while zipping the pan of the remote head to capture the final corner, and all in one smooth shot Live. Always a difficult task to capture every rider perfectly with a dynamic camera angle but the Sea to Sky Crew nailed it again.
