12 Rounds

A Vancouver feature film directed by Roel Reine. Sea to Sky Cable Cam was hired to shoot several scenes including two vertical shots inside Rogers Sugar Factory. Scenes included the Mayor being buried alive by sugar from an overhead conveyor and the main actors having a shoot out on the stairwell in the same building. From this one job Matt Maddaloni was given enough credit to join IATSE Cinematography Union, 669. Thank you to Aris Georgiopoulos (first assistant camera a) and Gabriel Medina (camera c operator) for recognizing our talent and offering your support. Brought in as “Cable Cam Operator”, the position was a first for IATSE 669.

Story line: Nick Malloy portrays an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) who finds himself caught in a deadly 12-round game of cat and mouse with a vigilante tied to the paramedic’s past. With little time to spare and his wife’s life hanging in the balance, the EMT must figure out why he’s been chosen to be the pawn in this maniac’s game before it’s too late. Written by Kunal Torres.
