Eagle Eye 250 – The world's lightest cable cam winches. Available with 1–4 programmable, repeatable winches for complex shots. Operates on 120V 1Φ or 208V 3Φ with a flight envelope up to 250 × 250 × 25 ft.

Born from climbing. Engineered to go where nothing else can.

Founder Matt Maddaloni was a professional rock climber before he built camera systems — sponsored since 1999, with first ascents across the Himalayas, the Canadian Rockies, the Coast Range and the Arctic. He even invented the Anticam, a purpose-built piece of protection for a climb on Squamish's Grand Wall that no existing gear could hold. That fast-and-light alpinist mindset shapes every system we design — able to travel as excess luggage, hike or heli to a mountain summit, or get hauled up a 600m (2,000 ft) rock face.

On set, that background carries union credentials to match: IATSE Local 669 (Camera) and Local 815 (Grip), with camera department credits on productions including Cold Pursuit, Altered Carbon and The Flash. Rigger, climber and camera operator in one — it's why productions call us in when nobody else can get the shot safely.

Apple Immersive - Orangutans

Filming orang-utans with the Apple Vision Pro VR camera required seven unique setups, six of which made the final film. A standout shot was a continuous 1 minute 14 second vertical ascent, following a mother and baby climbing a 150-foot vine.

WHISTLER OLD GROWTH FOREST

Netflix - Keep Breathing

Crew needed cable cam positions rigged in real time, chosen by the director on the spot. By end of the first day we'd deployed four completely different rigs in four separate locations — none of them pre-selected. The final episode's climax moment was one continuous 38 second cable cam shot.

Apple Immersive - Adventure

A background in sound recording, cinematography and advanced rigging, plus IATSE membership across remote head operation, sound, grip and special effects. Originally a professional rock climber, Matt developed his approach to filmmaking in extreme environments — pushing what's creatively possible.

Denham Trollip

Lead Engineer & Systems Designer

Designs, programs and builds the technology behind every shot. Hands-on experience in the stunt industry shapes his approach — engineering equipment that performs reliably under load, across distance, and in high-pressure environments.

Chris "Fish" Boulton

Lead Operator & Safety Specialist

Over 20 years as a cable cam technician, rigging grip and safety specialist, with rope access and rescue training from two decades at Whistler Fire Rescue Services and Whistler Blackcomb Ski Patrol. Leads on-site rigging and operation, calm and solutions-focused.

Derek Heidt

Lead Remote Head Operator and Camera Tech

A camera operator and specialized remote head technician known for executing highly complex action sequences. A former 1998 Canadian Winter Olympian in snowboarding, he transitioned his high-speed, extreme sports background into an industry-leading career in technical camera operations. He is the founder, owner and operator of Revered Cinema (RVRD), a premium Canadian-based specialty camera company that designs and builds custom heavy-lift FPV drones, cable cams, tracking rigs and vehicle tracking systems for major Hollywood blockbusters.
